Black Bear Hunting at it's
Finest!
- Linamac is well known for it's
quality bear hunts. There are many reasons why.
- First, being so close to the largest
crown game preserve in the world, the Chapleau area is
abundantly plentiful with black bears. We are in a great
location!

- Second, in Ontario there are only
fall bear hunts. Fall hunts are excellent as this is the
season for bears to eat more in preparation for
hibernation. Bears are out searching for food. we begin
baiting weeks in advance to insure action at the baits is
plentiful!

- Third, our bear baiting is
outstanding. Here is a short description of our method.
Our bait sites consist of a five gallon bucket with holes
(scent), hanging 5 to 6 feet off the ground in a tree, we
place a heavy wooden lid on the bucket to insure that
only a bear can extract the bait. The bait itself
is made up of butcher scraps and each bear is given 10 to
12 lbs daily!

- As a result it is no surprise that
each year a large percentage of our hunters leave with
fascinating bear stories and the satisfaction of a
successful hunt!

- After your kill we help you skin and
process your bear for travel...freezer space is
plentiful!
